Our facilitators!

Miriam Hernandez

Miriam has been part of the St. Dominic Savio Youth Ministry since she was 12 years old. She became a youth leader at the church where she served for many years. When Miriam was eighteen years old, she went to the missions in Tijuana for one year. Now Miriam is working as Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Mary’s church, and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. Miriam has been helping Jc in the Quinceañera’s retreat for the last ten years.

Jonathan Lara

Johnny has been part of the St. Dominic Savio youth ministry since he was 14 years old. Johnny has worked with children in different ways, he was a camp counselor, Head Counselor, and lately, he has been the leader the whole camp experience as Headmaster. Johnny is a professional dancer and loves to help Quinceañeras with their choreography. Johnny holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. Johnny has been doing Quinceañeras for the last seven years. 

Jc Montenegro - the moderator!

Jc Montenegro has been working with young people for the last 20 years. He started to lead the Quinceañera retreat when he arrived in the United States in 2001. With this experience in mind, Jc has put together this fantastic online retreat to help families celebrate their Quinceañeras!
